A multi-million pound four-year research programme will combine the expertise of the nuclear industry with 10 universities to focus on some of the key challenges of the UK’s nuclear legacy and help build the next generation of nuclear experts.
On 17th September, it was announced by the EPSRC that the bid had been successful and the consortium was awarded £4.9 Million.
The EPSRC issued an invitation for proposals for a “Collaborative Research Programme in Decommissioning, Immobilisation and Management of Nuclear Waste”
