Impact

DISTINCTIVE is a multi-disciplinary collaboration of 10 universities and 3 key industry partners from across the UK’s civil nuclear sector.

Engagement and impact with a DISTINCTIVE edge

We have a dedicated Impact Leadership Team (ILT) whose aim is to widen the programme’s audience and maximise the potential outcomes of the project through public engagement and impact activities.

Potential beneficiary groups include:

  • Site license companies and the associated industrial supply chain
  • Government, regulators and implementation authorities
  • Society and stakeholder groups

The ILT have a number of engagement and impact led events scheduled throughout the duration of the project.  Key highlights will include:

  • Road Show Event at Westminster
  • Public and Media Engagement School “Agents for Change”
  • Small Group Public Outreach Activities
  • Research Led Public Consultation Events
  • Proposed Radio Documentary
  • Variety of Dissemination Activities

Information regarding impact events and activities can be found on the Events page.  Please check this page regularly for updates.

We also welcome contribution from external partners.  If you have an idea for another event to be held by the consortium, outside of those listed, please contact Prof. Neil Hyatt (n.c.hyatt@sheffield.ac.uk).
